A 1903 Weed "Motor"

My father bought the engine in unfinished condition around 1970. In 1977 I aquired the engine from my father. After several years I finally got motivated to finish it, but a few parts were missing and information about this engine is not easy to find. I found an old book, Gas and Gasoline Motors by Hiscox, that had 3 drawings and a brief description of it. This was just the help I needed to make up the missing parts and finish the engine. The book refers to it as a "Motor" of about 1-1/2 HP, but I don't think so, the flywheels are only about 12". The article in the book states that a complete set of the castings, parts, screws and blueprints was available for $15.00. Ah, the good old days. The engine runs very smooth and has always been a source of conversation when shown.
